London, UK. Hugh Jones, Global CEO of RX Global today announced that Fernando Fischer has been named President, RX Global Americas.
Fischer joined RX Global as President, US in January 2020. Previously he was CEO of RX Global (RX) Brazil for three years, during which time he dramatically improved customer value, financial performance and employee engagement. Under his leadership, he significantly enhanced both the unique and high impact digital solutions for matchmaking and developing the employee culture, winning RX Brazil the accolade of one the ‘best places to work’ in the country. Prior to joining RX Global, Fernando served as CEO of six companies in Brazil and one startup in the US across a wide range of industries ranging from consumer electronics, mobile, gaming and healthcare, to security, foodservice and industrial.
Commenting on the appointment, Jones said, “I am delighted for Fernando and for us all at RX Global across the region. Fischer succeeds Hervé Sedky, who is leaving the company in December 2020.
