Milan 21 March 2018 – The flavour of communication is the new communication campaign of the next edition of Viscom Italia, the leading International Exhibition on Visual Communication, to be held from 18th to 20th October 2018 at Fieramilano, Hall 8/12.
Through creative balance, the new visual identity leads the way in thinking how ideas, innovative technologies and applications bring to life custom products highlighting the countless opportunities that visual communication offers to various markets such as design, décor, textiles, retail trade and industrial production.
Viscom Italia stands out as a hotbed of fresh ideas to turn the event into a strategic appointment for all visual communication professionals from across Europe and most importantly a source of inspiration and information about new trends. A perspective on the future scenarios and the significant changes ongoing in the sector, and finally a careful look at the new communication channels that are transforming a market which is experiencing an increased crossover with other segments.

Bolstered by the success of the previous edition – that attracted more than 400 international brands and over 19,700 visitors from 56 countries – the show hits a high note with the number of exhibitors who have already signed up. Viscom Italia 2018 acts as an international platform for doing business, and it is preparing to host exhibitors and visitors with a memorable and unprecedented event.
This year, too, V-Connect an online matchmaking service by the Reed Group, with the aim to foster contact between exhibitions and visitors, will provide unparalleled networking opportunities. An innovative way of offering both interlocutors a no-cost way to make new business connections.
Viscom Italia will partner with the second edition of MOSTRO - Graphic Design Camp, a collateral event dedicated to graphic design & visual communication to take place in Milan and running alongside Brera Design Days. A packed programme of meetings, workshops and exhibitions will enliven the city of Milan from 12 to 18 October 2018 to put the professional world of graphic design in the spotlight, to host “MOSTRO of the year” award, and provide a comprehensive overview of visual arts in today’s contexts.
The projects made up by the competition winner will be displayed in a dedicated area set up throughout the three-day event.
Through an inclusive approach, deriving from the exploration of the visual communication universe, fresh visions and new enthusiasm will be revealed by the three main events featured by the three-day event:
Viscom Talks, Viscom Live, Viscom Awards – DIVA.
As is customary, the Viscom Talks - organised under the scientific coordination of Personalive, a company incubated by POLIHUB – will take centre stage. The aim of the rich programme of seminars and debates is to
bring people together, investigate the hot topics buzzing about the market, reason and rethink their business, as well as learn and familiarise with new developments in visual communication.
The very successful Viscom Live makes a comeback. An open lab to bring together the technical and application potentials inspired by the exclusive customisation solutions. At Viscom live visitors will see with their own eyes all the new solutions and get great ideas they’ll show to their future customers and contaminate, just like a virus, new markets.
Creative excellence will be the fil rouge to accompany the new Elementaria format dedicated to transform and reinterpret materials for shop fittings and brand communication. To this end, particular focus will be given to raw materials, the effective collaboration with internationally renowned artists, and gifted designers. Sport&Fitness will be the theme of this year’s edition.

Display Italia Viscom Award is back for its eighth edition, the international prize-winning competition, organised in bundle with Display Italia, which aims to reward the best display solutions for points of sale in the following categories: permanent and temporary display solutions, digital signage devices, packaging, retail design, and shop fitting.
