Role Overview

This position sits within the Exhibition Team and is responsible for leading both Sales and Marketing activities to drive the successful planning and execution of domestic and international exhibitions.

The role will primarily manage KORMARINE (International Shipbuilding & Marine Equipment Exhibition) and Korea Ocean Expo, along with 1–2 additional exhibitions. Based on each event’s strategic objectives and value proposition, the incumbent will lead exhibitor acquisition, sponsorship sales, marketing planning, and full execution.

From a Sales perspective, the role requires a strong understanding of industry positioning and value chains to identify, match, and acquire relevant exhibitors and strategic partners.

From a Marketing perspective, the role focuses on maximizing value matching between exhibitions and target customers through value-based marketing initiatives including content, packages, promotional programs, and tailored offerings.

This is not a pure sales or operations role — it is a strategic position aimed at developing a comprehensive understanding of the exhibition business and driving long-term event growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Exhibition Sales Leadership

  • Lead sales for KORMARINE, Korea Ocean Expo, and 1–2 additional exhibitions

  • Understand and execute event-specific value propositions and revenue targets

  • Identify and acquire target customer segments through value chain analysis

  • Propose and close exhibition products including booth space, sponsorships, and related packages

  • Conduct Executive and Operational Business Reviews

  • Analyze customer organizational structures and R&D needs

  • Drive renewals and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts

  • Manage sales pipeline and forecast to achieve revenue goals

  • Build and maintain long-term strategic account partnerships

2. Exhibition Marketing Leadership

  • Lead marketing initiatives for KORMARINE, Korea Ocean Expo, and additional events

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with event revenue objectives

  • Design value-based marketing content targeting exhibitors and prospective clients

  • Develop exhibition packages, promotional campaigns, and special programs

  • Create tailored proposals and communication strategies based on customer needs

  • Develop marketing materials and messaging to support sales activities

  • Analyze marketing performance data and implement continuous improvements

  • Collaborate on online and offline campaigns to enhance event brand positioning

3. Internal & Global Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Global Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams

  • Apply global value-selling frameworks and best practices

  • Partner with Customer Success teams to enhance exhibitor satisfaction and retention

  • Major domestic conglomerates and mid-sized enterprises

  • Companies across shipbuilding, marine, safety, energy, and related industries

본 포지션은 전시팀 소속으로, 국내외 전시회의 성공적인 기획 및 운영을 위해 Sales와 Marketing을 통합적으로 수행하는 역할입니다.
KORMARINE(국제조선 및 해양산업전)과 Korea Ocean Expo(해양안전대전)를 포함하여 추가 1~2개의 전시회를 함께 담당하며, 전시별 목표와 Value Proposition을 기반으로 참가사 유치, 협찬 영업, 마케팅 기획 및 실행 전반을 수행합니다.

Sales 측면에서는 전시의 산업적 포지션과 Value Chain을 이해하고, 이에 적합한 고객군을 발굴·매칭하여 참가사 및 파트너를 유치합니다.
Marketing 측면에서는 고객과의 Value Matching을 극대화하기 위해 콘텐츠, 패키지, 프로모션 등 다양한 마케팅 아이템을 기획·제안하는 Value-based Marketing을 수행합니다.

본 포지션은 단순한 영업 또는 운영 역할을 넘어, 전시 비즈니스 전반을 이해하고 전시의 성장을 주도하는 핵심 인재를 지향합니다.

주요 업무 (Key Responsibilities)

1) 전시회 Sales 담당

  • KORMARINE / Korea Ocean Expo추가 1~2개 전시회 영업 담당

  • 전시별 Value Proposition 및 매출 목표 이해 및 실행

  • 산업 Value Chain 분석을 통한 타깃 고객군 발굴 및 참가사 유치

  • 전시 참가, 부스, 스폰서십 등 전시 상품 제안 및 계약 체결

  • Executive / Operational Business Review 정기 운영

  • 고객 조직 구조 및 R&D 니즈 분석

  • 기존 고객 대상 재참가 유도 및 업셀·크로스셀 기회 발굴

  • 영업 Pipeline 및 Forecast 관리, 매출 목표 달성

  • 주요 전략 계정(Account) 관리 및 장기적 파트너십 구축

2) 전시회 Marketing 담당

  • KORMARINE / Korea Ocean Expo추가 1~2개 전시회 마케팅 업무 담당

  • 참가사 및 잠재 고객 대상 Value-based 마케팅 콘텐츠 기획
