About the team
RX BITEC is part of RX, a global leader in exhibitions and events, creating high‑impact platforms where businesses connect, trade, and grow. We are looking for an experienced Group Sales Manager to lead sales performance across a portfolio of B2B exhibitions in Thailand.
This is a senior commercial leadership role with responsibility for driving revenue growth, managing and developing sales teams, and ensuring consistent execution of sales strategy across shows.
About the role
The Group Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales function, delivering budgeted revenue, and implementing strategic growth initiatives across assigned exhibition portfolios. The role focuses on maximising sales effectiveness through strong leadership, disciplined pipeline management, and value‑led selling, while working closely with Exhibition, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver successful events.
Responsibilities
- Own sales performance and revenue delivery across the exhibition portfolio, ensuring targets are achieved or exceeded.
- Develop and execute clear sales strategies, plans, and milestones aligned with annual budgets and reforecasts.
- Lead, coach, and performance‑manage the sales team (Strategic Account Managers, Account Managers, Sales Executives).
- Drive sales effectiveness through strong KPI management, including pipeline health, conversion, retention, and new business.
- Identify and develop new industry sectors and prospects to expand and grow each show.
- Oversee Key Account strategy to secure revenue, increase spend, and strengthen long‑term relationships.
- Work closely with Exhibition and Operations teams on pricing, floor plans, onsite rebooking, and revenue‑generating upgrades.
- Champion value‑led selling methodologies and consistent use of Salesforce and sales systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading B2B sales teams with revenue accountability.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management.
- Demonstrated success in Key Account management and new business development.
- Experience embedding structured sales methodologies and driving sales discipline.
- Strong people leadership, coaching, and performance management capability.
- High level of CRM and sales systems proficiency (e.g. Salesforce).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
