This historic edition connected construction professionals to the future of the sector with solutions, product launches and technical updates, from artificial intelligence to sustainable materials
São Paulo, April 2024 - The 28th edition of FEICON, the International Civil Construction Trade Show, held from April 2 - 5, is already considered the biggest of the last 10 years. The analysis is from the organizer, RX, which released the data on its traditional balance sheet, confirming that all records were broken for attendance, evaluations and generation of qualified business leads.
Numbers and business
Over the four event days, FEICON 2024 welcomed more than 100,000 visitors and attained the historic mark of 480,000 qualified leads generated with its digital tools. “The number of professionals with decision-making power and the intention of doing business was one of the highlights of this edition,” said Director Ivan Romão.
The main result, however, is not in the numbers, but in the real impacts on the construction sector. The fair is an ecosystem that pulses with innovation, technology and sustainability, with attractions that combine theory and practice, strategy and a vision of the future. “It’s a 360-degree cycle, which reaches its apex in the pavilion, but is not restricted to it. The construction sector community is connected year-round with our channels,” the executive explained.
Content and Experiences
In the spaces for sharing knowledge such as ENIC, VMC Encounter, Sincomavi Symposium and Space and Construction and Retail Content Centers, in addition to the Influencers' Lounge, there were presentations by experts on topics like Artificial Intelligence, data and tax reform. At the Ceramics House, visitors had access to materials and systems in a 43.85 sqm building that can make construction cheaper and faster.
New products and launches
The tech era
While the Technology Route, sponsored by Mútua, introduced visitors to new solutions for greater efficiency and lower costs, exhibitors showed disruptive products. WEG, for example, highlighted its new line of locks, with access via app, biometrics or password. DANFE generated curiosity with their smart toilets. Leica Geosystems Brasil presented a robotic station that instantly calculates volumes of earth and landscaping.
Recognition
In addition, the future of construction had spoilers with the Retail Innovation Seal, a partnership with Grau 10 Editora. First place in the popular vote went to the “Alice Set,” launched by Fabribam Cabinets for bathrooms. The piece is a composition designed with curved lines, a wooden slat structure and synthetic marble sink. Get more details here.
The time for green is now
The Sustainability Route, organized by Inovatech Engenharia, gave visibility to products that meet the criteria for less environmental impact. Among the exhibitors, the solutions presented included: 50 S XCarb™️ Rebar by ArcelorMittal, sustainable electrical wires by SIL Fios e Cabos Elétricos, sustainable soundproofing by Trisoft and the line of waterproofing products by QUARTZOLIT.

With 31% growth, compared to the last edition that brought together more than a thousand brands, this edition of FEICON expanded its networking and prospecting opportunities.
