The 24th edition of ILTM Cannes, the flagship global event for luxury travel, ran from 1–4 December 2025 and celebrated its biggest year yet, surpassing previous records with almost 10,000 attendees and over 100,000 scheduled meetings.
Luxury travel brands, destinations, experiences, and suppliers spent the week forging new relationships and deepening existing ones with leading international travel planners, curators, and agencies - underscoring the continued momentum of the luxury travel sector. More than 2,500 buyers from 83 countries, 44% attending for the first time, connected with over 2,350 brands from all four corners of the world, all supported by a robust schedule of networking events. There was a significant presence of buyers from Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, the UK and the US.
The global flagship event for the ILTM Portfolio began with an Opening Forum featuring three inspirational presentations for the global luxury travel community.
Visa’s Asia Pacific Principal Economist Simon Baptist revealed destinations gaining popularity amongst the affluent include Ho Chi Minh City, Mumbai, Manila and Bogata alongside favourites such as Lyon, Hokkaido, Lucerne and Madrid.
Anna Nash from Explora Journeys, Steve Odell from Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Oceania Cruises and Simone Gibertoni from Clinique de Prairie then discussed the growing appeal of ocean-based experiences and what they are doing to entice first time cruisers after ILTM’s latest research found 10% of high-net worth individuals believe they will never want to cruise.
Adventurer Rob Lilwall closed the evening with lessons from his extraordinary travels and revealed a shift towards the pursuit of adventure, challenge and personal fulfilment in luxury travel today.
Reflecting ILTM’s focus on ocean-based experiences and in response to the "Blue Mind" tourism trend, focusing on the calming aspects of being near water, ILTM 2025 saw the first ‘The Sail’ pavilion as a new waterfront home for cruise, yacht and river travel.
ILTM also welcomed over 100 influential travel editors representing major luxury-focused media outlets followed by high-net-worth audiences across the globe. Throughout the week, exhibitors engaged with these editors in a variety of formats, including rapid networking rounds, press events and curated individual meetings.
Luxury travel advisors were passionate in their praise of ILTM Cannes in supporting their business goals:
Kerri Lisa, of Internova Travel Group’s Global Travel Collection commented: “Of any trade show, we see the highest percentage of decision-makers - sales, GM’s and hotel owners - here at ILTM Cannes.
