RX Global, a division of RELX, has announced the acquisition of PackPlus - a portfolio of leading trade fairs previously owned by Next Events, serving the Indian packaging industry. Launched in 2006, PackPlus, an annual event held in Delhi, has established itself as India's largest dedicated gathering of trade professionals in the packaging industry. Building on this success the PackPlus portfolio has expanded and now includes PackPlus South (Bengaluru/Hyderabad) and the India Packaging Show in Mumbai.
With this acquisition, RX Global further expands its presence in India and welcomes PackPlus into its portfolio of more than 500 events across 30 countries. As a leader in the business of face-to-face events, RX Global will bring its expertise, global reach and resources to the benefit of the PackPlus brand, its customers and the event team. With the recent acquisitions of Big7 and Mack Brooks, RX Global continues to strength its position as a leading, reliable, reputable and committed partner in India.
