RELX and RX Cares Month
Each September, RELX and RX mark Cares Month. We join forces across the business to make a positive impact through community outreach activities, team challenges, charity fairs and more. RELX Cares Day will take place on Thursday 21 September. We would love to know how you will be celebrating Cares Month, please add your activities below!
While we put a special focus on volunteering during Cares Month, remember that we all have the opportunity to support our communities throughout the year. Everyone at RX receives two RELX Cares days per year, which are paid days to volunteer at a registered charity of their choice.
Congratulations to the RX Greater China Cares Team!
The RXGC Cares Team has been recognised in RELX’s 2023 Recognising Those Who Care Awards.
This award celebrates employees who have made outstanding contributions to RELX Cares and this year our congratulations go to the RXGC Cares Team, led by Carol Tang, from RX China who were runners up in the team category and have won $1,000 for a charity of their choice.
The RXGC Cares team showcased an exceptional ability to pioneer innovative and impactful initiatives, including the Walkathon for Love, Baby Home handcraft activity, and the 9·22 Pop-Up Markets. These activities have not only effectively raised funds for critical education and care initiatives but have also inspired engagement from employees, their families, friends, and customers. Way to go RXGC Cares Team!
September is Cyber Security Awareness Month
This year’s theme — Get Your Cyber Priorities Straight — is focused on helping you develop your digital habits to be cyber safe at home and work: protect your family, defend your life savings and secure our business of building businesses.
Kicking off our month-long celebration, Week 1 will be focused on Cybersecurity in an AI World. To get things started, this Wednesday, 6 September (1 pm BST) we host How is AI changing Social Engineering? (register to receive your invite).
Explaining Reward Job Architecture
Continuing our series of ‘Explaining Reward’ articles, this one looks at the Job Architecture that we use to group all our different jobs across RELX into a consistent framework. You may wonder why the Job Architecture framework matters to you? We rely on our Job Architecture to help us deliver equitable and competitive rewards in all our countries, so if you want to understand our approach to reward, it’s an important element. It can also help you to assess the career opportunities available to you.
RXer Caroline Góes named to the RELX Innovation Honour Roll
A huge congratulations to Caroline Góes of RX Brazil for being recognized on the RELX Innovation Honour Roll for her work establishing the new Exhibitor Dashboard!
Caroline led the creation of the Exhibitor Dashboard, which allows show exhibitors to finally be able to gauge show success with tangible data on leads. Way to go Caroline and everyone who has made Exhibitor Dashboard a success!
