Why work in events? Because the core of our business is deeply human. No two days are ever the same. We work across multiple industries, navigating evolving technologies and constantly adapting to what businesses need. What makes it special, though, is the impact. My best interview tip is to be yourself. Come prepared, do your research but don’t over-script it. We want to hear you…your ideas, your questions, your perspective. Know your strengths and be comfortable talking about weaknesses ̶ we aren’t all experts at everything, and RX is a place to learn as well as grow. We are a company filled with intelligent, passion, driven people, and we’re always looking for more.


Nick Lowe, VP Technology, Global
RX’s Technology team covers a wide spectrum of disciplines ranging from support, infrastructure, project management, business analysis, development, testing, and cybersecurity. There’s plenty of scope to learn new skills and work across different disciplines. When looking for candidates technical skills are important, but what really stands out is curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to understand and learn. People who ask how our shows work and how technology can make them better tend to thrive here. Having an understanding of what is happening across the technology industry and applying it to different industries is a key skill for RX. When interviewing, come prepared to tell your story, what you’ve done, the challenges you’ve solved, and the outcomes you’ve delivered. And remember, it’s a two-way conversation. You’re also assessing whether RX is the right fit for you.

A sales career at RX lets you practice the art of the possible. No two sales are the same because no two clients are the same. Each client is coming to one of our events to show case their unique offering. Our job in sales is to translate their need into a reality. You start by gaining a deep understanding of their business and working with them to design a solution that allows them to capture the attention of the buyers we bring to them. A great sale is one where you have given the client the opportunity to succeed at our event – to create new wealth for their company and community. There is no better satisfaction in sales than this. RX events are magical places, full of possibilities, and your job in sales is to give every client the chance to flourish at them.
