PGA HOPE is served by more than 3,000 PGA of America Golf Professionals who have attended adaptive golf and military culture training to be certified as PGA HOPE instructors. The program is currently being offered at more than 500 locations in the U.S., in 40 PGA of America Sections. In 2023, the program positively impacted over 11,000 Veterans. In 2024, PGA HOPE will serve over 17,000 Veterans and Active Duty Military and officially reach all 50 states.
“I can speak on behalf of our more than 30,000 PGA of America Golf Professionals when I say that we are extremely proud of the impact PGA HOPE has made on the lives of Veterans,” said PGA of America President John Lindert, PGA Director of Golf at the Country Club of Lansing in Lansing, Michigan. “PGA HOPE is held very near and dear to my heart as it not only improves lives, but saves them, too. I’m happy to see it front and center at the PGA Show as we want to do everything we can do to make this special program available for more Veterans every year.”
The PGA Show Winter Jam Concert begins at 6:00 pm at the New Concert Lounge in Hall E of the Orange County Convention Center. Show attendees will receive complimentary admission by showing their event badge at the door. The concert is a limited attendance event and Show badge holders will receive admission on a first-come, first-served basis. Veterans, Active Military, PGA HOPE certified PGA of America Golf Professionals, PGA HOPE Ambassadors and PGA HOPE graduates registered for the PGA Show will be honored as special guests.
Additional PGA Show Week activations surrounding PGA HOPE include multiple touch points across the Show Floor, recognition of PGA of America Golf Professionals who currently serve PGA HOPE’s mission, a PGA of America Golf Professional recruiting station, a PGA HOPE certification for Department of Defense-employed PGA of America Members and fundraising throughout Show Week.
PGA HOPE will occupy Booth #700, adjacent to the Show Floor Practice Putting Green by the indoor Equipment Test Center. PGA of America Golf Professionals who are currently serving the program are encouraged to visit the booth to receive a special thank-you gift, and Association Members who are interested in serving PGA HOPE’s mission can visit with PGA HOPE staff and Ambassadors onsite.
The 71st PGA Show will bring together thousands of PGA of America Golf Professionals, golf leaders, industry executives and retailers from around the world who will source new products from nearly 1,000 golf and golf lifestyle brands, attend high-level industry presentations, participate in education and career workshops and connect in person with peers and golf leaders to drive continued growth of the sport and the business of golf.
