About the Role

This is an exciting time to spearhead the future of Inter Airport Europe in Munich and Airport Show in Dubai.  Both brands are leading events in their respective regions bringing the full Airport sector value chain together.

The Event Director is responsible for the strategic development and financial performance of both events. The successful candidate will identify and evaluate strong and sustainable growth opportunities, using customer insights to develop new product/service solutions and brand extensions based on customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Steering the Vision and Strategy: own and drive the vision, strategy, and goals, ensuring alignment within RX UK and across global teams.
• Delivering Growth: develop strategies that identify promising growth opportunities, craft solutions based on customer needs, and drive revenue and profit growth.
• Leading High-Performing Teams: inspire, guide, and lead diverse teams to achieve exceptional results, maintaining focus on innovation and excellence.
• Building and Expanding the Brand: leverage customer insights to develop new products, services, and brand extensions.
• Executing with Precision: oversee financials, from setting budgets to re-forecasting, and collaborate with operations teams for successful event delivery.
• Connecting with Industry Leaders: your role will be highly visible, making you a key figure in fostering relationships with stakeholders across the global Airport sector.

What We Are Looking For

• A proven track record in brand and product management, building and growing successful events.
• The ability to identify strategic alliances, develop new innovations and create new business opportunities.
• High levels of planning at both an operational and strategic level.
• A passion for leading cross border, diverse teams while promoting inclusivity and growth at all levels.
• Experience in inspiring teams toward a shared vision while staying connected to broader business goals.
• Experience or a keen interest in the Aviation/Airport sector preferred.
