About the Role
The Product Marketing Manager is instrumental in driving the growth and market penetration for our portfolio of shows. This role entails crafting comprehensive marketing plans based on the event strategy and broader portfolio marketing strategies. The incumbent will determine the total addressable market size, identify growth opportunities across key industries and segments, and devise strategies for audience expansion. This position is responsible for nurturing relationships with associations, analysts, influencers, media, and industry bodies, acting as the show's onsite lead. By participating in external events and communities, the Product Marketing Manager shall deepen their industry knowledge, identify trends, and understand our visitors' and exhibitors' needs in detail. This role involves close collaboration with the sales team to align on enablement and account-based marketing (ABM) plans and acting as the customer's voice to inform our Insight programs. 
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of our shows and play a vital part in achieving our marketing objectives. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a marketing plan for allocated shows, aligning with the EVP and Portfolio marketing strategy. 

  • Establish market size, penetration, and identify growth opportunities across key industries and segments. 

  • Propose and implement audience growth strategies. 

  • Manage relationships with associations, analysts, influencers, media, and industry bodies. 

  • Lead onsite at shows and represent our brand at external market/industry-specific events. 

  • Develop detailed visitor and exhibitor marketing plans and objectives. 

  • Align with the Sales team on enablement and ABM plans. 

  • Contribute to persona development for content and customer experiences. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. 

  • Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager or equivalent role, preferably within a similar industry. 

  • Experience in market analysis, campaign management, and strategic planning. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 

  • Excellence communication in German and English

  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and performance reporting. 

  • A track record of success in executing marketing strategies that have driven growth and market penetration.
