About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and collaborative Senior Buyer Account Manager to lead and deliver buyer programmes across RX Global’s world‑class travel event portfolio, including IBTM World (Barcelona), WTM London, ATM Dubai and ILTM Cannes, as well as events across the Americas and Africa.
This is a varied and impactful role combining people leadership, strategic planning, and hands‑on delivery. You will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, engaging and hosting high-value event professionals, ensuring they have a seamless and rewarding experience while building meaningful connections with suppliers. Alongside this, you will lead and develop a team of Buyer Account Executives across multiple regions, coordinating resources, setting clear priorities, and supporting delivery across a diverse portfolio of global events.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will use data and insight to guide decisions, strengthen partnerships, and continuously improve programme performance. This role offers the opportunity to shape inclusive, high-quality experiences that support both customer success and business growth, while contributing to wider strategic outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead, support and develop a team, setting clear goals and providing regular feedback to enable success
- Plan and allocate resources across events to balance workloads and support business growth
- Design and deliver buyer recruitment strategies aligned with event objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals and partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. marketing, content, operations) to deliver successful programmes
- Use data and research to identify, engage, and recruit target audiences
- Maintain accurate records and reporting, using systems and databases to monitor performance
- Deliver a high-quality, inclusive experience for customers and stakeholders before, during and after events
Requirements
- Experience leading or supporting teams, with a focus on collaboration and development
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse, global audiences
- Experience working towards targets or performance goals in a professional environment
- Ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and improve outcomes
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Comfortable working with databases and tools (e.g. Excel or similar systems)
- Proactive and adaptable, with a solutions-focused approach
- Relevant experience in events, customer engagement, sales, or partnership development (or transferable experience)
