About the Role

The Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing is responsible for defining and driving the growth strategy across a portfolio of market-leading events. Acting as the strategic authority for the portfolio, this role combines market intelligence, customer insight, commercial planning, and marketing leadership to ensure sustainable growth in visitor attendance, customer engagement, and event performance.

Working closely with Event Directors, Sales Leaders, and Marketing Leads, the successful candidate will translate market opportunities into actionable growth strategies while ensuring effective execution across multiple events.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own the strategic marketing direction for a portfolio of events, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives.
• Analyze market trends, competitive activity, customer needs, sales performance, visitor behavior, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
• Define event positioning, value propositions, audience strategies, and market expansion initiatives.
• Work with the Marketing Lead to determine overall sales and visitor targets, channel-level targets, target audiences, budget allocation, and key strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Event Directors and Leads to establish innovative marketing strategies 
• Guide portfolio-level planning, including audience segmentation, campaign investment, channel strategies, and budget allocation.
• Monitor performance metrics, conversion rates, customer engagement, NPS, and ROI to identify areas for optimization.
• Provide strategic guidance and challenge to Marketing Leads regarding campaign strategies, post-show reviews, customer insights, and future growth plans.
• Communicate strategic priorities, market context, and business objectives to cross-functional marketing teams.

Requirements

• 15+ years of all-round marketing experience 
• Proven experience developing and growth-focused marketing strategies.
• Experience managing multiple industries, brands, events, or business lines simultaneously.
• Experience working closely with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic business decisions.
• Strong strategic and commercial mindset.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.

ポートフォリオ戦略の策定・推進

• 担当イベントポートフォリオにおけるマーケティング戦略および成長戦略の策定・推進
• 事業目標と整合した長期的な市場開拓戦略の立案
• イベントごとのポジショニング、価値提案（Value Proposition）、ターゲット戦略の設計
• 市場拡大および新たな成長機会の特定

市場分析・顧客インサイトの活用

• 市場トレンド、競合動向、顧客ニーズ、来場者行動、業界動向の分析
• 売上実績や来場者データをもとにした成長機会の発見
• 顧客インサイトを活用した戦略的なマーケティング施策の提案

事業計画およびマーケティング投資の最適化

• Marketing Leadと連携し、売上目標、来場者目標、ターゲットオーディエンスの設定
• マーケティング予算配分および重点施策の立案
• オーディエンスセグメンテーション、チャネル戦略、投資計画の策定
• ポートフォリオ全体の視点からマーケティングリソースの最適化を推進

パフォーマンス管理・戦略改善

• KPI、コンバージョン率、顧客エンゲージメント、NPS、ROI等の分析
• マーケティング施策の成果検証および改善提案
• イベント終了後のレビューを通じた継続的な戦略改善

ステークホルダーマネジメント

• Event DirectorおよびMarketing Leadとの戦略的パートナーシップ構築
• クロスファンクショナルチームへの戦略方針の共有・浸透
• 経営層への提言および戦略的意思決定の支援

応募資格

必須条件

• マーケティング領域における15年以上の実務経験
• ブランドマーケティング、BtoBマーケティング、イベント経験
• 事業成長を目的としたマーケティング戦略の立案・推進経験
• 複数の業界、ブランド、事業、またはプロダクトを横断的に管理した経験
• 経営層や事業責任者などシニアステークホルダーとの協業経験
• データや顧客インサイトに基づく意思決定能力
