Viscom Italia tastes success once again attracting more than 20,100 professional visitors who livened up the 30th anniversary of an exhibition rich in of new experimentation, trends, business and creativity.

Milan, 23 October 2018 – Saturday 20 October 2018 marked the end of the 30th Viscom Italia – the International Exhibition  and Conference on Visual Communication – that animated the aisles of Hall 8/12 at Fieramilano. The three-day event proved to be a roaring success that welcomed 20,127 visitors (a 2 per cent increase compared to 2017).

It is actually on the challenge to new markets, the importance of training, the celebration of excellence in technology and applications, and internationalisation that Viscom Italia has focused its ambitions, helping outline new future goals and make them affordable for any professional, in the attempt to improve their business strategies.

"More and more professionals see Viscom Italia as the leading business event for the visual communication industry, and their presence, continually increasing, reveals the extraordinary dynamism of the sector - stated Massimiliano Pierini Managing Director RX Global Italia. We welcomed visitors and exhibitors in a location that every year becomes more and more unique, allowing us to live three days of creativity and business. Viscom Italia is increasingly a successful event in which to do business and share experiences with industry players from all over Europe”.

This year’s edition theme was “the taste of communication”, which pervaded the rich menu of events, contests and live shows to delve into the latest market trends and as an exclusive showcase of all’s new in visual communication.

Ten seminars, 17 guest speakers and over 1,130 visitors attended the extensive schedule of conferences, the so-called Viscom Talks, - under the scientific coordination of Personalive. An information platform where a number of keynote speakers took the stage telling their success stories to highlight how visual communication solutions are increasingly influencing a variety of industries from advertising to design, from fashion to retail and brands scenario in order to create winning business models

A complete overview of the multiple solutions that visual communication versatility allows to bring to the market today, and an opportunity for exchange to discover new insights went through the Viscom Live. An event – devised by RX Global Italia and designed by architect Paola Silva Coronel – harbouring the multiple technologies and applications covering our sector.  A highly amused audience could test and probe the unusual solutions the many faces of technology and materials offer as they apply to visual communication.  Main sponsor - 3M Italia. Technical sponsors - Brother Internationale, Industriemaschinen GmbH - Italian Branch, Cielle, Embroidery Service, Epson, Fenix Digital Group, Guandong/Alpac, Oki, Trotec and La Montina.

The” Food Fiction” exhibition by the talented designer, Marco Goran Romano in collaboration by MOSTRO, the festival of graphic arts and the technical partner Canon Italia, attracted a large turnout.  The show wanted to highlight not so much the imagery of food rather a personal vision packed with fiction and literary references.  His visual research, made up of signs, harmony, traditional symbols, animated his illustrations generating empathy, evoking to all appearances a familiar world as inside it infuses new models with shapes, colours and innovative details.

Creativity, technology, innovation and design were the iconic ingredients for Elementaria that put on show seven prototypes devoted to Sport & Fitness, and developed by the following gifted designers: Matteo Caimi, Cristian Visentin, Giorgio Gurioli, Marco Maggioni, Massimo Farinatti, Pablo Pinxit and with raw materials from the sponsors i material gallery show.
