About the Role

We are seeking an organised, supportive, and proactive individual to join our Event Executive team. As an Event Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless event execution by coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will require multitasking and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that deadlines are met and processes are followed with attention to detail.

From our Düsseldorf location, we plan and design our leading and world trade fairs, and are looking for you as an Event Operations Executive (m/f/d) (full-time) as soon as possible.

What to expect:

  • Support in the planning, organisation and implementation of our trade fairs in close cooperation with internal teams and external partners
  • Coordination and support of exhibitors, sponsors and partners
  • Conducting re-evaluations of the events and preparing results reports
  • Support in budget planning and control, including cost monitoring and adherence to the specified budget
  • Conducting market analyses and visitor surveys to continuously improve the event
  • Management of logistics, including assembly and dismantling, transport and storage of materials
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the event, including on-site issue management

 

What you bring to the table:

  • Completed studies in the field of event management, business administration or a comparable qualification
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in event management, ideally in the field of trade fairs or major events
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a team and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
