About The Role 

As Sales Team Manager you will be driving the sales team’s effort across our flagship event Arabian Travel Market.  You will also be in region lead for the launch of WTM Spotlight Riyadh as well as having responsibility for a number of large government accounts in the region. 

You will lead and inspire a high-performing sales team to drive revenue growth and maximize opportunities. You will support the development and execution of strategic sales plans, coach team members, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and build strong client and industry relationships. This role requires proven sales expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Commercial Growth 

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed revenue targets across all product lines. 

  • Use data-driven insights to identify and act on revenue opportunities. 

  • Build strong client relationships and deliver outcome-focused solutions. 

  • Set a bold vision for the team, encouraging innovation and calculated risk-taking. 

  • Manage and forecast complex sales pipelines, market trends, and risks 

  • Take responsibility for Floorplan management to maximise revenue opportunities. 

Leadership & Team Development 

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve exceptional results. 

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and sales excellence through training and feedback. 

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to improve communication, processes, and delivery. 

Performance & Growth 

  • Foster a growth mindset and encourage experimentation and innovation. 

  • Identify team training needs and implement development initiatives. 

  • Seek and apply feedback to improve personal and team performance. 

Industry Expertise 

  • Build and maintain a strong network of internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Monitor market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies. 

  • Represent RX Global at industry events and stay ahead of emerging technologies. 

Collaboration & Compliance 

  • Champion inclusive teamwork across departments including operations, marketing, finance, and brand. 

  • Engage international teams to drive global support and advocacy. 

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and promote ethical sales practices 

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.  

  • Experience in exhibitions, trade shows or events. 

  • Proven experience in sales leadership and team management.  

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.  

  • Ability to develop strategic sales plans and drive execution.  

  • Skilled in building client relationships and industry networks.  

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive environment.  

  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and forecasting abilities.
