Trade show for the electrical and electronics industries held July 18–21 in São Paulo received more than 31,000 visitors
Equipment, solutions, and trends in electrical and electronic installations for all types of industries were presented last week during the 31stFIEE – the International Trade Show for Electrical, Electronic, Power, Automation, and Connectivity Industries. The trade show took place July 18–21 at the São Paulo Expo in São Paulo/SP, Brazil, and generated around R$ 2.4 billion in business, a 20% increase compared to the originally projected volume. The four-day event welcomed more than 31,000 visitors.
Trade Show organizers have also already announced the date of the next edition: July 22–25, 2025, and new growth prospects: the event is expected to gather more than 600 brands.
In 2023, there were more than 400 participating brands, and the positive results achieved underscore the strength and importance of FIEE as a showcase for the industry’s digital transition, helping these brands prepare for the demands of the future.
“This result shows how much the industry has advanced and sought innovations and trends. It’s very gratifying to see that FIEE has contributed in this sense, bridging the gap between the electronics sector and the production industry for the widest range of segments. We’re very pleased with the numbers achieved in this 31st edition, especially regarding the high qualification of the attendees,” commented FIEE manager, Haline Ferreira.
Meetings and opportunities
The volumes of business transactions and the alignment of opportunities between buyers and exhibitors invigorated participants at the 31st edition. Celso Fonseca, São Paulo regional sales manager at SEW-EURODRIVE BRASIL, emphasized that the company is fully satisfied with this participation at FIEE and confirmed their participation at the next edition slated for 2025.
“Our stand was visited by several relevant customers in the sector. Our main highlight, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) — which starting this year will be manufactured locally in Indaiatuba/SP — sparked tremendous interest from companies and professionals who browsed through the pavilion,” he stated.
For Carlos Rubim, product manager for Latin America at Fluke, the trade show was an outstanding opportunity to be in contact with the public in person, presenting the foremost solutions and reinforcing the company's work.
“The trade show was very positive for strengthening ties with our customers, announcing product launches, and reiterating all of Fluke's expertise and its commitment to keeping the world running. We’re grateful for the opportunity and we’ll certainly be back for the next edition,” highlighted Rubim.
Content for the sector
Promoted and organized by RX Brasil, with technical curatorship by the Brazilian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association (Abinee), the trade show went beyond business and networking by featuring the Abinee TEC, which this year, in addition to the Abinee TEC Forum, presented four Content Arenas (Technology and Innovation, Energy Solutions, Building Automation, and Sustainability), addressing issues of relevance to the industry and presenting solutions and experiences related to innovation and trends.
The event’s schedule offered more than 100 hours of content and featured top specialists from Brazil and abroad as speakers. Plus, the arenas had 98% of their available seats occupied, which proves the quality of the content addressed and the public’s interest.
