For its first edition, RENODAYS has fulfilled all its objectives! A real event for the building, construction and real estate sector, the forum was able to seduce with the richness of its content. More than 5,000 visitors came to meet the 143 exhibitors present but especially to attend the masterclasses, workshops, meet-ups, demonstrations and RENOTALKS that punctuated these two days. A look back at the highlights of RENODAYS and the highlights of these meetings dedicated to the global and efficient renovation of housing.
A new format that met its audience
Designed by the RX Global teams, who are also organizers of the Batimat, Interclima, Idéobain and Equipbaie – Metalexpo exhibitions, RENODAYS was a real challenge. The organizers have indeed resolutely chosen to break the codes of the classic show to propose a new format promoting exchanges.
And the bet is successful! 5063 visitors were present and attended the more than 220 speeches that were proposed to answer questions, sometimes complex, around the overall and efficient renovation of housing.
Supported by exhibitors and partners, RENODAYS has injected real dynamism into this flagship topic by engaging all stakeholders, public and private, to express themselves together and to think about concrete solutions to move things forward.
Highlights and committed partners
RENODAYS was marked by the presence of Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Minister of Energy Transition, who came to inaugurate the event and speak at the conclusion of the opening conference "Global and efficient renovation of housing: are we on the right trajectory?" before going to several stands.
On the RENOTALKS stage, 13 sessions took place, grouped under the theme "Committed to the climate, citizens and jobs!". More than 10 hours of exchanges, led by 30 speakers from multiple universes. The two highly anticipated opening conferences launched the debates of these two days.
On Wednesday, the opening conference, led by UNICLIMA, entitled "Why deprive yourself of an efficient renovation course by stages?" also brought together an attentive audience.
Some partners had also chosen to reserve exclusive launches for RENODAYS:
- Stop Energy Exclusion has launched its Fresco of Energy Poverty
- The Union of Architects (UNSFA) and the Club de l'Amélioration de l'Habitat (CAH) awarded the prizes of the first edition of the Architectural Requalification of Condominiums Award.
- Launch of thelow-carbon renovation challenge by the HQE-GBC Alliance and CCCA-BTP
- The results were also announced:
- the very first HOME barometer (Optimized Housing and Energy Management) on the relationship of the French to energy savings in their homes by SONERGIA & OPINION WAY,
- the study on residents' renovation habits by the Housing Improvement Club with sociologists Audrey VALIN and Gaëtan BRISE PIERRE,
- the survey on the training and support of building professionals facing the challenges of energy renovation by Winlab' & Batiweb.
In addition, Dorémi has led workshops and demonstrations around airtightness, carpentry installation and double-flow ventilation that have been a great success.
Need for exchanges and information combined with a great user-friendliness.
If the format of the speaking spaces (masterclass, workshop, meet-up, pitch) facilitated the exchanges, one place was also very popular and appreciated: the Café de la Rénovation. Located in the heart of the Forum, it proved to be a real crossroads of meetings to extend the dialogue in a friendly way. At lunchtime, the tables were transformed into tables d'hôtes around which the debates continued.
The next Renodays will take place in 2025. However, the subject of the global and efficient renovation of housing will be largely on the program of the Mondial du bâtiment exhibitions – Batimat joined by Equipbaie and Métalexpo, Interclima and Idéobain – the major meeting of the sector is already set, from September 30 to October 3, 2024, at the Porte de Versailles
