What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

It was from my father. He said, “Value your time. If you want to do something, do it now. If you want to study languages – do it. Maybe you want to learn a new sport – the best time to do it is now”. We always think that we have a lot of time, we will do it later, now is not the best time. But actually now is the only best time to do what you want to.

What are you reading right now?

I have just started a book called “Nonviolent communication. A language of life” by Marshall Rosenberg. This books helps to improve relations. He says don’t give in to anger, speak openly and listen carefully, think outside the box, and always try to get along with other people. I’m really enjoying this book and learning how to apply it to my life.

What’s your favourite app we might not have heard of?

I work with social media every day, so my favourite app is PicsArt. I have tried a lot of apps for making nice pictures and realised that it’s the most useful one.

What country would you travel to if you could go anywhere?

My dream is to travel to Japan and see the cherry blossom. I see Japan as a different world with its own culture, people, food and nature. A world that is completely different from Russia.

What is the biggest work challenge you face right now?

I started working for RX in January of this year. It was a really challenging time for me even though I was excited to be here. We had two events in February, but I didn’t have a lot of experience in event organisation or marketing. There was so much to learn, and I had to do it fast. The more experience I have gained, the more I have been able to deliver. Now I feel more confident that I am making a real contribution to the company. I’m grateful to my marketing team for their support and willingness to share their knowledge with me.

What do you enjoy most about working in events?

People and face-to-face communication. You work hard the whole year and finally get to see the real result of your work. You see the huge stands, people communicating and doing business, and then you read their positive feedback about the show. It’s an amazing feeling.

What makes you proud to work at RX?

RX takes care of its people. I started experiencing it the minute I joined the team. I feel that I’m a valuable employee even though I only joined the company 6 months ago. RX is not only about great events, it’s about respect, support, and valuing each individual. I’m very happy and proud to work here.
