About the role

As a senior member of the Buyer Team, you will lead the development and delivery of hosted buyer strategies, manage high-value individual and group buyer accounts, and drive commercial impact across RX’s global travel event portfolio. Your focus will be on building and managing long-term relationships with premium buyers, optimizing their event journeys, and ensuring alignment with exhibitor engagement goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management: Oversee high-value buyer relationships (individual and group), ensuring satisfaction, retention, and event ROI.

  • Programme Development: Shape and execute recruitment strategies aligned with event objectives and segmentation models.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Tech to drive matchmaking outcomes and platform adoption.

  • Market Expansion: Identify and nurture new-to-show buyer leads; grow global buyer database in priority markets.

  • Onsite Hosting: Attend major events to support buyer experience, provide real-time issue resolution, and represent the RX brand.

  • Reporting & Insight: Analyse buyer data to inform programme improvements and present strategic insights to leadership.

  • Mentorship: Guide and support junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in B2B account management, MICE/luxury travel, or event industry.

  • Proven track record managing complex client relationships across global markets.

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate insights into strategic actions.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Excel, and event platforms.

  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills at all stakeholder levels.

  • English communication skills are mandatory
