We are looking for an experienced senior sales leader to oversee Sales of RX Brazil, part of RELX, a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers. 

 

Reporting to the Managing Director, Latin America, you will serve as the strategic leader and driver of comprehensive revenue generation strategies for RX Brazil. You will provide the vision, leadership, and direction to our sales organization across Brazil. The successful leader will have a proven ability to cut through to the core of the issues and focus others on the fundamental principles that underpin revenue growth, building a performance culture and establishing clear lines of responsibility. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Sell a portfolio of the organization's and/or third-party event/exhibit space, including booth/floor space, sponsorships, directory advertisements, and other ancillary media. 

  • Provide leadership to managers and senior professional staff, ensuring accountability for the performance and results of diverse teams. 

  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with functional and organizational goals. 

  • Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive business development strategy, fostering long-term relationships and partnerships to drive revenue. 

  • Establish and maintain a high-performance sales culture, motivating team members and fostering collaboration, innovation, and results. 

  • Optimize sales organization design and channel strategies to ensure customers are aligned with the right sales talent. 

  • Ensure high standards of leadership and support to enable salespeople to grow, perform, and excel while retaining top talent. 

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to achieve strategic and financial goals. 

  • Enhance cross-functional efficiencies by creating clear objectives and accountability across sales, marketing, and product fulfillment to maximize customer value and profitability. 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 15+ years of sales leadership experience, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role, managing diverse sales teams. 

  • Proven success in leading both value-based and transactional sales organizations, driving revenue growth and customer relationships. 

  • Track record of leading and executing change initiatives that have delivered measurable business impact. 

  • Experience designing and implementing sales enablement programs that significantly improved performance, engagement, and overall team effectiveness. 

  • Expertise in optimizing sales systems, processes, and organizational design to enhance efficiency and customer alignment. 

  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce and other sales management tools, leveraging data-driven insights to drive decision-making. 

  • Fluency in English is required.
