About the Role

As a Sales Executive at RX Global, you are at the forefront of driving business sales and creating meaningful connections with our customers. Your mission is to understand their unique needs and challenges and provide tailored solutions that deliver exceptional value. With a focus on value-based selling, you are instrumental in helping our customers achieve their business objectives through our world-class events and market-leading digital tools. You will become a trusted advisor to your clients, sharing expertise and insight that will bring RX closer to the customer decision-making process.  

Responsibilities

Commercial Growth and New Business Acquisition:

  • Develop an understanding of the Energy market, its vendors, and needs.

  • Build long-term relationships with customers, understanding their businesses and marketing needs.

  • Attract new companies to participate in events and engage with our brands, attending industry events to obtain market intelligence and prospect for new business.

  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, finance, and brand leadership to deliver exceptional value for customers.

Customer Optimization:

  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients, sharing expert knowledge and industry best practices.

  • Excite clients in both face-to-face and digital environments, understanding their value drivers.

  • Use data to present the value of participating in events and identify opportunities for clients.

Performance & Development:

  • Ensure all essential customer information and interactions are recorded accurately in Salesforce.

  • Constantly seek opportunities to try new solutions and take risks, identifying training needs and delivering improvements.

  • Actively seek feedback on performance and self-reflect on performance KPIs.

Industry Expertise:

  • Be an industry expert with knowledge of macro and micro trends across geographies and industries.

  • Stay ahead of future trends and emerging technologies, representing RX Global at industry events.

  • Attend global competitor events to maintain relationships, expand the database, and prospect for new business

Requirement

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in sales, preferably within the Energy sector or exhibition industry.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

  • Skilled in managing CRM campaigns and using systems like Salesforce.

  • Understanding of macro and micro trends, preferably in the Energy market.

  • Strong ability to sell to senior-level prospects and collaborate across functions.
