Reason #1
We’re at the top of our game
With 350+ events in 25 countries, RX is home to globally renowned brands like New York Comic Con (NYCC), MIPCOM, and World Travel Market, connecting millions of professionals and fans face to face and digitally. We need all kinds of specialists to help deliver exceptional customer experiences, from sales, marketing and creative directors to software engineers, data analysts, finance and legal experts. We’re a big company, but small teams and an agile approach mean you can make a big impact — fast.
“I’m involved in some 30 trade shows, several 365 digital platforms and corporate communications, and love the multiplicity of the industries and products I work on. From the design of communication products to video production and motion design, from signage to scenography. I have a global vision of all our exhibitions, which is exhilarating.”
Remi Belair, Art Director, France
“Events provide so many opportunities to advance your career and gain valuable life and professional experiences. A career in the events industry isn’t always linear and I think that is what is so special about working here, you have so many opportunities to find what you truly excel at and are given the flexibility to go after the career that you aspire to have.”
Alex Campbell, Creative Director, USA
“You have the answers to every sales scenario you will ever face within RX’s global knowledge network. There is no way I could perform at the standard I have over the last seven years if I couldn’t lean on the different departments, teams and individuals I’m blessed to work with.”
Laura Williams, International Senior Sales Manager, UK
Reason #2
We’re event tech innovators
Digital technology is revolutionising live events, and our Global Tech team is leading the charge. Our 'Business Builder' suite of digital engagement and data capture tools is setting new standards in digital event tech, while driving growth for our customers. And backed by RELX—a global powerhouse with 10,000 technologists and £1.2 billion invested annually in AI and data analytics—we’re excited to explore AI’s potential further. This support not only fuels innovation but also offers unparalleled learning and career opportunities within the wider RELX network.
“What I love most about working in event tech is the huge variety of different industries our events cover. You could be working on a travel event one week and then be working on a cosmetics or gaming show the next. It truly is diverse and interesting, as you also get a “behind the scenes” glimpse of those industries and how they work.”
Kim Thomson, Senior UX Designer, UK
“I oversee the digital tools’ roadmap for RX France making sure business objectives can be reached while implementing tools and innovation that cover all the steps of a customer’s journey with our events. The best thing about this role is the fact that it involves working with all divisions of the company from finance to operations and sales and marketing. Projects are complex with a lot of challenges and it’s great to be able to work with a broad team of experts to find solutions.”
Celine Battestini, Digital Production Director, France.
“I enjoy the constant challenges event tech brings. It’s a rapidly changing ecosystem and keeping up with it is exhilarating and inspiring at the same time.” and i

Reason #4
Wellbeing is important to us
At RX, we recognise that personal wellbeing and work-life balance are essential for our people and our organisation to thrive. That’s why we offer a range of initiatives designed to support mental and physical health. From flexible working, wellness days, social events, and team-building activities that foster connection, to mental health first aiders, professional counselling and free access to the Headspace mindfulness and meditation app, we prioritise creating a supportive environment. In 2024 we were awarded ‘Best Global Company Culture’ for the third year in a row by Comparably, the employee review platform that collects anonymous feedback and ratings from current employees.
“Joining RX is one of the best career choices I have made. As a mother, I’ve found it to be the most flexible and supportive company I’ve experienced, allowing me to reduce my hours, change my role and then when the timing was right, take a step up. I’ve had fantastic managers, and their support, enablement and encouragement has been everything I have needed to be here, in my favourite role so far.”
Liz Broughton, Head of Talent and Capability, Global
“I am passionate about championing mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and I’m proud to work for an organisation with an open, inclusive and compassionate culture.”
Sophie Gilligan, Portfolio Marketing Manager, UK
“RX has a special way of doing business, a great culture and ethos, and a brilliant HR team who care about their people.”
Montserrat Belmonte, Sales Account Manager, Mexico
Laura Williams, International Senior Sales Manager, UK
Reason #5
We include everyone
In 2021 RX set out on a journey to build a more inclusive culture, rich in diversity, where all our people feel safe and supported. We’ve since been recognised by Comparably, the employee advocacy tool, for ‘Best Company for Diversity’, with an overall culture score rating of A. Our new ‘Guide to Inclusive Events at RX’ is setting new industry standards for event accessibility and inclusive content. Our membership of the Black Young Professionals (BYP) Network, Women in Exhibitions, and MyGWork LGBTQ+ platform is helping us to attract diverse new talent. And our Employee Resource Groups, representing race, gender, LGBTQ+, disability, and generational issues give everyone at RX a voice.
“During the past four years, under Hugh Jones’ leadership, there has been real change at RX, with diversity and inclusion now at the heart of our company culture. I was recently contacted by a member of my team – a person of colour – who said she felt empowered seeing me in my role and that it made her believe that she can achieve her ambitions too.”
Des Massicott, Chief Information Security Officer, Global.
“RX feels like a family, a place where I can show up exactly as I am and be respected for it. As a trans non-binary neurodivergent, it’s amazing that I feel safe to be me in a work environment. At RX we always look to help and support each other.”
Charlie Oxford, Strategic Account Manager, Australia.
“Overall, a reason why I applied to RX back in 2022 was because of the inclusion and diversity culture the company promotes. It was the first time in my career that I didn't feel embarrassed about my disability. I feel this company is extremely welcoming to everyone.”
Dana Stange, Conference Manager, USA
Reason #6
We care
At RX we are mindful of the environmental impact of our global events and of our responsibility to our local communities. We’re a founding member of the Net Zero Carbon Events pledge which commits us to reach net zero by 2050 at the latest and to halve our greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. RX Cares, our global community programme, supports employee volunteering and charitable giving that makes a positive impact on society. As part of the programme everyone within RX gets two full days paid leave each year to dedicate to their own charities and community work. Since January 2021, we have also committed $1M over five years to not-for-profit partners that work on equality, fighting injustice, and supporting global development.
“There are many things I love about my role as Operations Manager but finding innovative ways to make our events more sustainable, reduce our carbon footprint, and move towards zero waste is a mission that particularly motivates me, giving meaning to my work.”
Antoine de Lestanville, Operations Director, France
“Being an RX Cares volunteer is an intense and transformative experience that changes the way you see the world and yourself. RX Cares allows us to share affection, love and skills, through actions and gestures for those who have so little.”
Lucimara Thomazo, Operations Management Coordinator, Brazil
“I use my Cares hours to volunteer for Diversity Role Models whose mission is to promote understanding and acceptance of individual differences and end LGBTQ+ bullying in schools. I am hugely grateful for the support RX and RELX gives to me, children and LGBTQIA+ folks in enabling my volunteering.”
Emma Riley, Programme, Governance and Operations Manager, Global
