A global ISC webinar on ‘Global Security and Law Enforcement Trends in an Age of Turmoil’ delivered by James Gagliano, former FBI special agent and current law enforcement commentator for CNN, has attracted over 2,200 registrants and generated 91% customer satisfaction.

ISC is the Americas leading security event brand, with events in Las Vegas, New York, Sao Paulo and Mexico City. In April, as the threat of Covid to their physical events became clear , the ISC Americas teams began to look at digital alternatives and agreed on an unprecedented joint initiative – a  global security webinar.

“We saw an opportunity to create something with a global focus, 100% digital. Our objective was to show that ISC is a global brand prepared for the new challenges. By collaborating, we could help the global industry, and our teams, learn together” explains Luiz Bellini, Portfolio Director at RX Global Brazil.

Delivered by James Gagliano in partnership with ISC News Editor-in-chief, DJ Murphy, the webinar addressed the critical issue of public safety during the pandemic. Free of charge to all registrants, it was broadcast simultaneously throughout the world on July 29th, with subtitles in Portuguese and Spanish.

2.210 people pre-registered for the webinar, of whom 1,348 (61%) attended. 91% of customers said they were satisfied with the live webinar which is now available on demand on ISC News, generating an additional 893 registrations.

Bellini sees the global webinar as the first step in a long-term strategy that will make webinars, online events and other digital initiatives part of the ISC brand. “We have to evolve to offer 365 days of connectivity and business opportunities. Having a globally recognized brand like ISC Security Events, places us in a strong position to serve an increasingly convergent global industry, who share the same challenges and needs in their respective markets. We are planning further digital events later this year, to which we hope to draw an even larger attendance.”
