Using the GROW coaching model, we help our people spark meaningful conversations ̶ asking the right questions to uncover goals and plan the steps to reach them. One of the most practical tools we offer is the Talent Card. Think of it as your internal LinkedIn: a profile capturing your skills, experiences, and aspirations. It’s a great way to prepare for career conversations with managers and opens the door to opportunities across the wider RELX network, not just within RX.

Careers flourish through connection, guidance, and the chance to learn from other’s experiences. That’s why mentoring and coaching play a vital role in career growth at RX. Through the RELX-wide mentoring programme, you can connect with colleagues across levels, regions, and company divisions. Mentoring creates space for honest conversations, fresh perspectives, and long-term professional relationships. Mentees gain support and direction, while mentors strengthen their own skills by helping others succeed. Coaching adds another dimension. Partnering with Ezra, RX has made executive coaching more widely accessible beyond senior leadership. More than 45 of our event leaders have completed six-month coaching journeys this year, supported by 360 psychometrics, to build confidence and impact in their roles. Training develops skills, but mentoring and coaching weave growth into everyday work ̶ fuelling confidence, connection, and career success.

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)—focused on race, gender, LGBTQ+, generational diversity, and enablement—are led by passionate employees gaining valuable skills in leadership, communication, and collaboration. You might find yourself promoting careers in events at the BYP (Black Young Professionals) Careers Fest, driving sustainability as a Net Zero Events Champion, or supporting women in the industry through Women in Exhibitions (WIE). Plus, everyone at RX is encouraged to take two paid volunteer days each year to support causes close to their heart. It’s a chance to give back, connect with others, and learn more about yourself.

Our goal was to educate, engage and elevate through content, discussions, and community.
