RX Brazil holds the biggest Bioenergy event in the world

Events

Reaching its 28th edition, FENASUCRO & AGROCANA - the biggest world event exclusively focused on the bioenergy sector - was officially launched this week, in Brazil. The fair, which will be held in August 2022, has been 100% commercialized and is expected to generate R$ 5 billion in business and receive more than 42 thousand visitors/buyers, coming from 15 countries and all Brazilian states.

"With the ever-increasing demand for sustainability, the bioenergy sector is preparing for an escalation of investments, due to the growth of its products and byproducts," explains Paulo Montabone, director of the fair. "This is because, in recent years, the bioenergy industry has invested a large part of its resources in equipment maintenance. Now, new projects and market niches are gaining evidence and will receive large-scale investments, such as the construction of new biogas, corn ethanol and second-generation ethanol plants," he adds.

For Montabone, the sector is a reference in sustainability, especially with biofuels. "There are already about 70 countries that are using biofuel as a blend, for example. What makes the negotiation volume in the market have a better and more favorable performance than in other years", he emphasizes.

FENASUCRO & AGROCANA will have four macrosectors: Bioenergy, Agricultural (Agrocana), Industry, and Transport and Logistics, which will bring more than three thousand products from international and national brands.
