About our Team:

At RX Global, our objective is to organize events for attendees and exhibitors. We focus on innovation, creativity, and collaboration as key elements in providing services and value for clients.

The sales manager will manage sales efforts for four events: Expo Seguridad México, Expo Seguridad Industrial, Infosecurity México, Expo Beauty Show, and Top Flotillas / Logex.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Sales Manager responsible for overseeing a medium-sized team or several small teams, setting departmental plans, and managing budgets and performance with minimal supervision. The role involves adapting priorities to meet operational needs and is accountable for achieving over 50% of RX Mexico’s sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all sales activities related to assigned events, including physical space, digital products, merchandising, and sponsorship. 
  • Setting and managing annual sales targets, representing about 50% of total event income. 
  • Leading, coaching, and training the sales team. 
  • Participating in client meetings and visiting events, with travel required about 30% of the time. 
  • Ensuring alignment with company objectives and collaborating with other managers.
  • Provides expert subject matter guidance to associates, colleagues, and customers.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of functional area and its contribution to organizational objectives, along with awareness of industry’s best practices.
  • Exercises complete management authority, including conducting performance reviews, making compensation decisions, overseeing recruitment, managing disciplinary actions, handling terminations, and other personnel matters.
  • Analyses information to identify and resolve moderately complex business challenges.
  • Influences service delivery quality, team performance, and achievement of volume and timeliness targets.
  • Responsible for strategic budget development and resource allocation planning.
  • Effectively guides, influences, and persuades stakeholders across internal business units and externally with customers or agencies.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of sales team management experience
  • Strong leadership in sales
  • Background in events or expos
  • Advanced English communication skills
  • Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce) and Power BI
  • Skilled at coaching and training teams
  • Willing to travel up to 30%
