From hello to hired

Hiring isn’t just about filling roles - it’s about finding the right people to grow and thrive together.
At RX, we take a thoughtful, inclusive approach to attract top talent who vibe with our NIMBLE strengths.

1. Exploring new opportunities

Once you’ve taken some time to focus on what you’re looking for, you can get a better idea of who we are, what we’re about, and what it’s like to work at RX.

Our goal is for you to feel like you know us a bit better, and that you’ve got enough information to feel like you’re applying for the right jobs.

You can checkout our about us page. View our YouTube channel and explore our locations.

Dive into our blogs and how we care for our RXers, communities and environment. The goal here is the job or jobs you land on should exist at the intersection of who you are and who we are. So go, click around for a bit. We’ll meet you back here.

You should now have a better sense of who we are and what part of the company and role seems like the best match for where you want to go.

2. Begin the process

We encourage you to focus on the roles that truly excite you and match your skills, rather than applying to lots of jobs all at once (we get it, it’s tempting, but it usually isn’t the best approach). It’s all about quality over quantity - trust us, it makes a difference.

Once you have found a role for you and applied, keep an eye on your inbox - we'll send you through a confirmation email via Workday, where you can also check the status of your application at anytime.

3. Exploring the fit

Our hiring process is pretty consistent across roles, whether you’re applying for tech, marketing, early careers or leadership positions. Not every step will apply to every role, but this gives you a general idea of what to expect.

Most candidates start with one or two short virtual chats with a recruiter and the hiring manager or a potential teammate. These are relaxed conversations to learn more about you - and for you to learn more about the role.

You’ll then usually take part in an interview, often in person at your local office for around 45–60 minutes.

Some roles may also include a short task or project, like a case study or skills exercise. We’ll always let you know in advance and keep it relevant.

We use structured interviews to make sure everyone is assessed fairly. And if you need any accommodations at any stage, your recruiter can help - or you can contact accommodations@relx.com or complete our confidential Applicant Support form.

4. Wrapping things up

Once your interviews are wrapped up, we’ll gather all the details from your application and chats to take a close look.

We’ll walk you through the next steps and give you some space to review everything.

From finalizing your start date and drafting your contract to outlining your benefits and launching your onboarding journey - we’ll take care of the details. After that, you’re officially on your way to becoming an RXer. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome you aboard!.

We’ve got some great perks to keep you happy and healthy while helping you juggle work and life. Check out our Benefits page or chat with your Recruiter for all the details.

It depends on the role. We’ve got fully remote roles and plenty of hybrid options too. Hybrid roles usually mean coming into the office twice a week, with one day being a team anchor day. That said, we know everyone’s situation is unique so if you need any adjustments, just let your hiring manager know.

It depends on the role. If you’re on one of our event teams, you’ll need to be onsite during the event and might travel occasionally to visit customers or check out other events throughout the year. For those in central functions, there are sometimes chances to head onsite and help out with local events too. Plus, since we’re a global company, there’s always the possibility of travelling to meet with teammates from other locations. Your hiring manager will be able to give you more information on the travel requirements for the role.

Some of our offices do! Reach out to your local office’s HR team through the contact details on their website to learn more or keep an eye on our latest job opportunities.

Check out rxglobal.com to learn all about us. From our top events and new digital projects to how we’re creating value - plus loads on our culture, values, and commitment to inclusion and diversity.

If there are any changes or adjustments that would make it easier for you to demonstrate your suitability to the role, you can discuss this with your Recruiter, email accomodations@relx.com, or share via our HR team using our confidential Applicant Support form.

We can offer adjustments like alternative interview locations, sign language interpreters, live transcription, extra time for assignments, extra time to answer questions, quiet spaces, providing a more accessible platform, sharing questions in advance, or using the meeting chat for questions. But everyone’s needs are different, so don’t hesitate to ask. Your Recruiter will work with you to make sure you’re set up for success. We want you to feel comfortable and do your best.
